One abandoned home can impact a neighborhood significantly. A vacant home is not maintained, the appearance stands out from the lived-in homes. In some cases, the home is broken into and becomes either a home for squatters or a base for drug dealing or other criminal activities.
There will be a public hearing on the grant application on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 4 PM at Fullerton City Hall in the City Council Chambers, 303 W Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, CA.
