Shiva is going to be a great addition to the Irvine City Council. In 2005, she started working as Beth Krom's executive assistant. In 2007, she was appointed to the Irvine Community Services Commission and is currently the chair. The structure of this commission is unique to Irvine - the commission advises Irvine City Council members on matters about creating, improving and maintaining the parks, recreational, cultural and youth facilities in the city.
