Here are some of the highlights of the Huntington Beach Centennial Celebration!
September 12 and 13 - Art, Culture and Music month with Plein Air painters.
September 19 - Surf City USA celebrates surfing heritage with a once-in-a-lifetime photo opp of over a thousand surfboards in the sand.
September 25 and 26 - Golden Bear Reunion at Hilton Waterfront Resort. Tickets available thru www.HB100years.org
October 3 - Locals take back the beach with bands, games, and a fire ring.
October 4 - Blessing of the Waves on the beach near the pier lead by Father Christian Mondor.
October 11 - Procession of Lights at Pier Plaza with symbolic burning of written prayer requests and faith walk celebrating the variety of faiths which make up Huntington Beach.
October 23 - Prayer Breakfast at Hilton Waterfront Resort
November 7 - Community picnic at Lake Park
November 14 - Tale of Two Cities celebrates sister cities Anjo, Japan and Waitakere, New Zealand. Bella Terra will host the event filled with food, music and other cultural events.
