Thursday, September 10, is a national day of action to show support for the Employee Free Choice Act (ECFA), also called Card Check. EFCA is the first major reform of labor organizing law in decades. Card Check will allow workers to more easily form collective bargaining units which can negotiate for better wages, health care, workplace safety and reasonable work schedules.
In Washington, DC, workers and leaders will be knocking on doors on Capital Hill to meet with elected officials to tell them to support EFCA. Supporting EFCA will build the middle class of the American economy.
If you can't make it to Washington, DC, call Sen. Dianne Feinstein at 866-207-2060 and urge her to support the Employee Free Choice Act and rebuild the American middle class. This is a special toll-free number for this event.
