Beth is a smart businesswoman and leader and will bring those sharp perceptions to Washington when she is our representative. Beth is currently on the Irvine City Council and served as Mayor for two terms. During that time, Irvine began a program to increase the reserves of the city of Irvine. As a result, reserves tripled - $30 million is in regular reserves and more than $70 million is an Asset Management Fund. The $100 million in reserves gives Irvine a signficant buffer in these current economic storms.
