Come to the Great Park and watch Batman protect the people of Gotham City and engage in epic battles with super villains. The 2008 Academy Awardwinning movie thriller “The Dark Knight” staring legendary actor Heath Ledger as the Joker will be the next Great Park Movie on the Lawn. “The Dark Knight” (PG-13), is a dark superhero crime thriller co-written by Christopher Nolan and based on the DC Comics character Batman and will be shown on a big screen outside at the Great Park.
Bring your friends and family -- as well as warm clothes for the cool October nights, chairs and blankets -- and come out to the Great Park Movie on the Lawn on October 10th at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, and parking is just $8.00.
“Movie on the Lawn was such an overwhelming success last spring, we are making it a regular feature at the Great Park,” said Larry Agran, Chair, Orange County Great Park Board Corporation. “We look forward to more family fun events at the Great Park with the upcoming Pumpkin Harvest on October 24th.”
